The only two scenarios I can think of are MS corporate is looking at Xbox in a different way, and different ambitions for it, or Phil is completely inept at his job. They looked like they were going to try, but sadly, after QB released, they have just been terrible outside of some random features which are nice. Can't believe I thought they were going to do better. MS lack of support was something I've railed against them for years before they even got into the console market. I've been an early adopter of a lot of consoles in the past 30 years, and I wasn't with X1, and to date, I have found no legitimate reason to feel it was a sound purchase. My X1 purchase is probably the worst console purchase I've made in a very long time. Maybe they'll get their heads out of their asses and be like they were in the OGXbox and halfway through the 360's life and be respectable again.or at least respectable in relation to their parent company. I've given up on them, but I'll probably gripe for a while longer about their ineptitude until it's just not worth it anymore. Rainslacker 1828d ago (Edited 1828d ago )
They might be kept around for DLC and such, but I don't see them escaping the chopping block otherwise. I don't know if the problem is on the developer side of things but if it is, I would be EXTREMELY surprised if this studio survives to make another game. This has been a pretty brutal development cycle and I doubt Microsoft is even slightly interested in taking a loss.Ĥ. I can't say Microsoft has the same passion for vision as Sony, so I would expect some serious microtransactions.
I think they're struggling to make this a tangible effort.ģ. We've witnessed the single player in action which doesn't use the cloud. I think it's far more than a coincidence that the game they chose to show the cloud is having some serious delays.Ģ. To the topic at hand, we learn a few things from this.ġ. Whatever you hold against Xbox, just let it go, mate. You're pretty consistent in your comment history so I must wonder why you're even in here. Phil has actually done a lot to do well by Xbox.
